OluKai Ali’i

The Ali’i Collection

Product photography, catalog mailer, video bumper and mini website to commemorate and support the release of the special edition Ali’i slippers and shoes from OluKai.

The brief was to create a world that held up to the ultra premium construction of the Ali’i while honoring its history. The photography was aimed at putting a spotlight on the product line while treating it like the royalty it descended from. For the catalog, a textured blind-embossing on a double sided printed sleeve holidng a gatefold catalog highlighted the product detial while the Kapa artwork textures reflected the use of materials. A website experience, separte from OluKai’s primary site, created a captive shopping experience with the full product offering. A short video of product details cut with historical images dove deeper into the story.

All product shipped in a custom wooden box and were limited to an edition of 250 per sku.
