OluKai Story Book

A Visual Brand History
Telling OluKai’s brand story with historical photographs, lifestyle photography, and character stories. This piece was included in every shoe and slipper box for a limited time as well as being displayed in stores at point-of-purchase. A heavy focus on heritage and ocean lifestyle, we wanted to show rather than tell the OluKai brand story.

Half men’s focused, half women’s focused, the book begins at either cover, which are turned one hundred and eighty degrees from each other. The two sides meet in the middle and require a flip to keep going. We felt it was a nice way to separate the two product segments while allowing them to intersect in a visually interesting and meaningful way.
